How to set a preset color for HomeKit lights

The Home app on iPhone and iPad provides some of the more commonly-used color options like blue and red in a group of presets by default to make color adjustments quick and easy. All it takes to set one of these presets is a tap after accessing your light's controls.

  1. Launch the Home app.
  2. Tap on the House icon (on iPad, skip to the next step).
  3. Tap the name of the Room that your light is in.

  4. Tap and hold on your Light.
  5. Tap a Preset color in the color selection area.
  6. Tap the X to save your selection.
